KELOWNA, BC – Tree Brewing has brought back spring seasonal Captivator Doppelbock for another year, with distribution now expanded to two additional provinces.
Inspired by the strong and nutrient-rich beers traditionally brewed by monks to sustain them through Lent and other times of fasting, this multiple award-winning brew is described as follows:
Captivator Doppelbock offers a sweet aroma with hints of toffee, light caramel and hazelnut. Unpasteurized and free of preservatives, it has a characteristic dark reddish hue.
As in previous years, Captivator has been released in a limited run of 650 ml bottles, and is available now in BC, Alberta, and for the first time in Manitoba. It will also be one of five beers included in a special Tree Brewing feature release which will be offered next month at select LCBO locations in Ontario.
