Granville Island Robson Street Hefeweizen Now Available in Ontario

TORONTO, ON – When a distribution partnership between fellow Molson Coors subsidiaries Granville Island Brewing (GIB) and Creemore Springs Brewery brought the former’s English Bay Pale Ale from BC to Ontario last year, it was suggested that more GIB brands might follow in the future. Now that suggestion has proven to be true with this week’s launch of GIB’s Robson Street Hefeweizen in Ontario.

In a press release announcing the launch, GIB brewmaster Vern Lambourne gives the following description:

We brew Bavarian wheat beer yeast together with a generous helping of malted wheat and German hops to give Robson Street Hefeweizen a nice, medium body and pale, cloudy colour. Subtle clove, banana, and orange flavours and an IBU of 15 make this a refreshing and light beer.

Granville Island Robson Street Hefeweizen will be available at select Beer Store locations in Southern Ontario for $12.95 per six pack of 341 ml bottles. It will also be available on draught at a number of bars and restaurants.

  1. Can’t wait for Molson’s ad campaign starring the Be Good Tanya’s singing Geoff Berner’s “Light Enough to Travel”.
“Wound up drunk again on Robson Street…”
