TORONTO, ON – The organizers of Toronto’s annual Cask Days festival and related events have announced their first ever event outside of Ontario.
Taking place on Saturday June 9th at Montreal’s Benelux brewpub, A Night of India Pale Ales will feature cask IPAs from 20 different breweries – 10 from Quebec and 10 from Ontario – plus a one-off collaborative beer from Benelux and Toronto’s House Ales.
From 6:00 to 8:00 PM, the beers will be poured blind in 5 oz samples, with tasters invited to vote on their favourites. At 8:00 PM, the beer and brewery names will be revealed, and service will switch over to 12 oz pours, with a winning beer from the blind tasting announced later in the evening.
More details about the event, including a full list of participating breweries, has been posted on the Cask Days website and a Facebook event listing.
