Trillium Book Award Marks 25th Anniversary with Unique Book & Beverage Pairings

TORONTO, ON – The 2012 winners of the Trillium Book Award, an annual award honouring literary excellence by Ontario authors, will be announced at a gala dinner in Toronto this evening, and to help mark the 25th anniversary of the Award, the Ontario Craft Brewers and Wine Country Ontario have been brought on board for a project called “A Toast to Ontario’s Books”.

This partnership was debuted in 2010, when each of the 17 finalist books for that year’s Award was paired with a different Ontario craft beer and local wine, many of which were available to sample at the Award reception.

This year, six past winners of the Award – three French & three English – were selected, and each has been paired with an Ontario beer and wine:

Andrée Lacelle: Tant de vie s’égare (1995) paired with Amsterdam Framboise & Henry of Pelham 2010 Pinot Noir
