Two New Ciders Debuting This Weekend at Seaport BeerFest

HALIFAX, NS – This year’s edition of the Halifax Seaport BeerFest – taking place today and tomorrow in Halifax’s historic Seaport District –  will include a special cider pavilion with a half-dozen cider purveyors, and a couple of them will be debuting brand new products with names that are well-suited to Nova Scotia and its history.

One of the new arrivals is Bulwark Cider, a 5.8% cider from the Muwin Estate fruit winery that is described simply as a “traditional craft cider”.

Given a slightly more detailed description is Ship Builders Cider, which is advertised as being a “light, effervescent dry cider steeped in Nova Scotia’s cider tradition. This is an authentic crisp and refreshing sparkling cider.”

In addition to being poured at the Seaport BeerFest, both Bulwark and Ship Builders are expected to be available at NSLC outlets soon.
