ST. THOMAS, ON – Railway City Brewing is bringing back its annual anniversary beer this week, and releasing it in a new format as well.
Double Dead Elephant Ale is a variation on the brewery’s flagship Dead Elephant Ale, brewed to the same alcohol level (6.5%) but with higher IBUs due to the addition of fresh locally picked hops from Vandelsyke Farm, which is located about 15 minutes to the east of the brewery.
This year’s edition of Double Dead Elephant will be debuted on Thursday September 13th at the brewery’s monthly Thursday Night Sessions event, where samples of the beer will be poured along with several other Railway City brands. Admission is $5 and is limited to 25 people – email email@example.com to reserve.
Those attending the event will also be the first to have a chance to buy Double Dead Elephant in limited edition 750 ml swing-top bottles before they go on sale in the brewery store on Friday. It will also be available on draught at select bars and pubs in Ontario.
