OTTAWA, ON – Since launching in the spring of 2011, The Brewery Market – and its spin-off The Brewer’s Backyard – has hosted some of the most popular craft beer events in Toronto, as well as a satellite event in Bracebridge. This weekend, the series is expanding to Ottawa with its biggest event yet.
The inaugural Ottawa Brewery Market is taking place on Saturday October 13th from 12:00 noon to 8:00 PM at 1000 Wellington Street West. 10 Ottawa and area breweries – including Ashton, Beau’s, Beyond the Pale, Big Rig, Broadhead, Cassel, Clocktower, HogsBack, Kichesippi and Mill Street – will be on-hand to serve their beers, including a number of seasonal brews and rarities.
Food will be provided by several local restaurants and vendors, including dishes made with beer such as crispy cod on a bun made with Kichesippi 1855 from Hintonburg Public House, and a Beau’s Burger & HogsBack Bacon Burger by Hintonburger.
More details on the Ottawa Brewery Market is available on the Brewery Market website.
