ST. JOHN’S, NL – YellowBelly Brewery has announced the release of a new winter seasonal, Mummer’s Brew.
Named after the Newfoundland Christmas tradition of mummering, Mummer’s Brew is described as follows:
Mummer’s Brew 2012 is a robust chocolate porter made with Extra Dark Crystal Malts, Chocolate Malt, Roasted Barley, Turbinado Sugar, Belgian Candi Sugar, Cacao Nibs, Vanilla Beans, and a few Grains of Paradise. Notes of rum, chocolate, raisins/figs/dates predominate. Malty and chocolatey, at 7% ABV, it is quite warming. A fantastic match for Christmas Pudding.
