SOUTH RIVER, ON – After several years of operating as a single brand brewery, Highlander Brew Co. has announced the release of its first seasonal beer.
Highlander Twisted Spruce is described by owner and brewer Brian Wilson as follows:
We hand harvest spruce tips 60 feet away from the brewery for this IPA style ale. This golden ale sits at 5.6% abv with notes of honey and herbal middle with a crisp Cascade hop finish.
Twisted Spruce is currently a draught-only beer, available at select pubs and in 20 litre kegs at the brewery. Bottles are planned to be available at the brewery shortly, and it’s also been submitted to the LCBO to be considered for retail sale.
