OTTAWA, ON – Big Rig Brewery will be paying tribute to the UEFA Champions League with a new beer to be launched just as one of the most anticipated matches in this year’s tournament gets underway.
Described as “A Beautiful Brew for the Beautiful Game,” Champion Czech Pilz will be going on tap at the brewpub today at 2:00 PM, in time for punters to get a pint in before Manchester United and Real Madrid hit the pitch.
According to brewmaster Lon Ladell, this new beer is a solidly traditional Pilsner, brewed with Pilsner and Munich malt and Saaz hops. It will be on tap at Big Rig while supplies last.
