TORONTO, ON – Beer Academy has announced plans to tap a new beer tomorrow (Friday March 15th), just in time for St. Paddy’s Day.
Beer Academy Amber Ale is a 5.3% abv and 55 IBU beer that is described as being “a marriage of an American Amber and Scottish Ale yeast.” The following sensory notes have been provided by the brewery:
Deep amber, almost mahogany in colour; our Amber ale has a spicy hop sharpness balanced against sweet caramel tones on the nose. Biscuit, toasty, and caramel malt characters balance a herbaceous, spicy hop snap across the palate.
Amber Ale will be available in the Beer Academy taproom starting tomorrow, and will be available to sample alongside the other Beer Academy beers at the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations that will be taking place at the Academy starting at 5:00 PM on Friday, and 12:00 noon on Saturday and Sunday.
