EDMONTON, AB – We may only be a few days into spring here in Canada, but Alley Kat Brewery is already looking ahead to the summer, and has released a new seasonal brew to prove it.
Summer Squeeze Grapefruit Ale is a 5% abv ale brewed with grapefruit and described as follows:
This medium gold ale has the aroma of freshly squeezed grapefruit and a flavour that is a perfect balance between grapefruit and citrus. “We had a tough task in creating a brew that could capture that refreshing quality we were looking for and be something that could grab the attention and taste buds of all beer fans. We tested a number of different recipes, but once we tried the grapefruit ale, we knew we had something really special,” says Alley Kat Brewery owner Neil Herbst. “Summer Squeeze Grapefruit Ale will definitely be a patio mainstay this summer.”
Summer Squeeze Grapefruit Ale is available now at the Alley Kat retail store, and will be officially launched with an open house on Thursday April 4th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. The event will include samples of Summer Squeeze and other Alley Kat beers, snacks, and brewery tours.
