Brewery List Confirmed for Brewers Plate 2013

TORONTO, ON – With less than 2 weeks to go until the 2013 edition of Brewers Plate Toronto, the full list of participating breweries – as well as the chefs they will be working with – is now confirmed.

Taking place on Wednesday April 17th at the Barbara Frum Atrium in the CBC Building (250 Front St. W., Toronto), this year’s edition will benefit Not Far From The Tree, an organization that facilitates the picking of urban fruit that would otherwise go to waste and shares it between local food banks and their volunteer harvesters.

Breweries participating in this year’s event will include Amsterdam, Barley Days, Beau’s, Black OakCameron’sDenison’sGrand River, Granite, Great Lakes, HogsBack, King, Lake of Bays, Mill Street, Muskoka, Niagara College, Nickel BrookNeustadt Springs, Old Credit, Railway City, Spearhead, Steam Whistle and Wellington.

Providing the food to pair with the beer will be chefs Brad Long (Café Belong), Brook Kavanagh (La Palette), Chris Klugman (Paintbox Bistro), Chris McDonald (Cava), Dan Sanders (Globe Bistro & Earth), Howard Dubrovsky & Andres Marquez (Fonda Lola), John Robertson (The Big Carrot), Karen Vaz (The Rebel House), Lora Kirk (RubyWatchco), Mark Cutrara (Cowbell), Michael Abbott & Matthew Dunbar (Grapevine Catering),  Michael Smith (The Gladstone Hotel) and Steffan Howard (Pegasus Hospitality).

Also on hand will be several artisanal food producers and vendors including Monforte Dairy, Chocosol, Magical Catering, Ninutik Maple Sugar, Daily Apple, Wanda’s Pie in the Sky, Evelyn’s Crackers and more.

Tickets for Brewers Plate 2013 are available now via the event website for $125 plus service charges. The event typically sells out each year, so early purchase is recommended.
