TORONTO, ON – After a couple of weeks of being available on tap at select bars and restaurants in Ontario, the second brand from Double Trouble Brewing is soon to arrive on retail shelves in the province.

Prison Break Pilsner is described as follows:

Aged for 30 days, Prison Break Pilsner’s unconfined flavour demonstrates just how good a lager can taste. Full of aromatic and balanced hopping for maximum flavour security. This Breakout Pilsner will surely set your palate free of uninspiring lagers.

Prison Break Pilsner will be available soon at LCBO locations, where it will retail for $2.75 per 473 ml can.

UPDATE: Claude Lefebvre from Double Trouble has contacted CBN to inform us that there have been some changes to the initial can design pictured above, and that the recipe for the beer has also been tweaked, with middle, late and dry-hopping with Saaz hops bringing it up to 38 IBUs. A more detailed article with full information about the final product will be posted on CBN closer to the LCBO release date.
