Black Oak Releases New Seasonal & Confirms LCBO Release Details for Old Favourite

TORONTO, ONBlack Oak Brewery has released a new limited run beer, and has also announced plans for an event to mark the wide release of previously limited brand.

Debuting this past weekend exclusively at the Black Oak retail store was Dubbel Entendre, a Belgian-style strong ale described as having “lots of sweet malty character, dark red ruby colour and 7.4% alcohol by volume.” It will be available at the store in 650 ml bottles (selling for $9.95 each) and on draught at select bars and restaurants while supplies last.

Making the jump from being occasionally available to being one of Black Oak’s year-round line-up is 10 Bitter Years, a Double IPA that has been exceptionally popular since it was first released to mark the brewery’s 10th anniversary in 2009. This 8% abv ale is on sale now in the Black Oak retail store, and will soon be available at select LCBO locations across the province, retailing for $6.50 per 650 ml bottle. A launch party the LCBO release featuring free tastings and giveaways will take place at the Summerhill LCBO in Toronto on Saturday June 1st from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
