Molson Entering Cider Market With Molson Canadian Cider

TORONTO, ON – Molson Coors Canada has announced another extension to its flagship Molson Canadian brand, this one a move into a brand new beverage category for the brewery.

Molson Canadian Cider is a 5% abv apple cider – the first ever from Molson – that is made using 100% Canadian apples and champagne yeast, and is described as “offering a semi-dry taste with a bright apple aroma.”

Molson Canadian Cider will be launched in early June in six-packs of 341 ml bottles and single 473 ml cans. Availability will be limited to Ontario and Nova Scotia, where it will be available in LCBO and NSLC locations respectively.
