OTTAWA, ON – Big Rig Brewery has announced the release of a new batch of Scotch Ale, a limited edition brew that was popular during its first appearance earlier this year.
A 7.2% abv ale developed by brewmaster Lon Ladell, Big Rig Scotch Ale is described as follows:
A smooth sweetness starts off this complex brew. Layers of different malted barley including barley that was smoked with peat moss give it a mild grain and peat flavour. We also add the delicious parts of an oak barrel to give it a balanced oak finish.
Big Rig Scotch Ale is available on tap now at the Big Rig Restaurant while supplies last.
