SHELBURNE, NS – Just a few days past the originally announced opening target of June, Boxing Rock Brewing was launched this past Saturday in Shelburne, Nova Scotia.

Partners Emily Tipton and Henry Pedro debuted Boxing Rock at Shelburne Farmers Market and the brewery’s own retail store (78 Ohio Road,  Shelburne) with 1 litre and 1.89 litre growlers of Temptation Red Ale, a 6% abv ale described as follows:

Full bodied and rich, Temptation Red Ale is a sultry jazz singer in your glass. Continuously hopped during the brew and dry hopped after fermentation with a single hop, this beer has a uniquely full flavour profile.

Boxing Rock will be open for retail sales from Monday to Saturday, with growlers of Temptation available now, and bottles to follow soon. Temptation is also available on tap at several bars and restaurants in the Shelburne area, and Boxing Rock will soon be offering two additional brands – Hunky Dory Pale Ale and The Vicar’s Cross Double IPA – for both retail and keg sales.
