Registration Now Open for 2nd Annual National Capital Homebrewing Competition

OTTAWA, ON – The organizers of National Capital Craft Beer Week, which will be taking place in and around Ottawa on August 9th to 17th, 2013, have announced that entries are now being accepted for the 2nd annual National Capital Homebrewing Competition.

The competition is registered with the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP), sanctioned by the American Homebrewers Association (AHA), and is an official part of the North American homebrewing competition circuit. Judging will take place during National Capital Craft Beer Week, and the announcement and presentation of Best of Show winner will take place at the National Capital Craft Beer Week Festival on August 17th.

Prizes to be awarded include a brew day at Beau’s All Natural Brewing, more than $2500 worth of prizes from OntarioBeerKegs.com, coasters from Canada Coaster and more.

Submissions for the National Capital Homebrewing Competition are being accepted now until August 2nd. Full rules and submission details for the competition can be found on the competition website.

  1. Anyone else having issues with the registration site? won’t allow me to print off bottle labels and says judging has taken place…
