OLIVER, BC – Firehall Brewery co-owner and brewer Sid Ruhland has announced via Facebook that a beer brewed especially for his recent wedding is now available for the general public to try, but only for a limited time.
White Wedding Wheat Ale is described as follows:
Only 35% wheat, not enough protein to make it hazy, so even though it’s unfiltered, it still is a clear beer. Light and citrusy, fresh and slippery, it contains a wee bit of toasted coriander, local golden honey, & bittersweet orange peels, but fermented with an British ale yeast, so it’s not a hefeweizen, weissbier, or a witbier… just an easy-drinking wheat ale.
White Wedding is available while supplies last at the Firehall Bistro in Oliver and the Kettle Valley Station Pub in West Penticton.
