SASKATOON, SK – Great Western Brewing has announced the launch of a partnership with the Canadian Football League (CFL) that sees the company named Official Beer Sponsor of the CFL and Grey Cup for 2013.
To mark the partnership, the brewery has released Great Western CFL Grey Cup Beer, a limited edition 4.6% abv Krystal Wheat ale that is described as follows:
Produced using prairie grown barley and 100% SK malted wheat that is filtered for maximum clarity. Vibrant golden colour. Slightly fruity banana aroma with a hint of spice and cloves. Light, refreshing, clean and crisp with no aftertaste.
The CFL Grey Cup beer is currently available in Saskatchewan in 15 can packs, and it will be released in Alberta and Manitoba next month. $1 from every case sold is being donated to Football Saskatchewan in support of amateur football.
