PRINCE GEORGE, BCScandal Brewing, an imprint of Pacific Western Brewing, has announced the second installment of Seven Wonders of the Beer World, a series of limited edition beers launched earlier this year that are being brewed in “tribute to the planet’s most extraordinary features.”

Created by brewmaster Henryk Orlik (pictured above) on the brewery’s new 10 hectolitre pilot system, Grand Canyon Pumpkin Bock is a 7.0% abv beer that is described as follows:

Brewed using fresh pumpkin, organic blue agave syrup, two-row and crystal malts, Hallertau traditional hops, and yeast, the Grand Canyon is a creamy malt-forward beer accented by hints of cinnamon and sweet agave. But be warned: Scandal’s latest offering will only be around as long as the fall itself, so enjoy this seasonal specialty before it’s nothing less than a legend.

Scandal Grand Canyon Pumpkin Bock will be released next week in a limited run of bottles that will be available at select liquor stores in BC while supplies last.
