COLLINGWOOD, ON – Six months after it was first announced, a new craft brewery is getting set to open this winter in Collingwood, Ontario.
Simply named The Collingwood Brewery, the project has been founded by partners Tim Cachia, Art Joyce, Greg Widell and Chris Freeman, and will be producing beers in a new brewhouse that is currently under construction at 10 Sandford Fleming Drive.
The brewery will launch with Downhill Pale Ale, a 5.4% American-style pale ale that will be available at an on-site retail store and in bars and pubs throughout Collingwood and the Toronto area. Additional brands are planned to follow in 2014.
