ST. JACOBS, ON – Block Three Brewing has announced details of a new one-off seasonal beer – the first from the brewery – that will be released later this week.
Block Three Blocktoberfest is described as follows:
A traditional Oktoberfest brew done in the German styling using a Kolsch yeast strain. With slight nuttiness and a touch of toasty notes in the malt body balanced by traditional German hops, this lagered ale finishes smooth and satisfying. At 5.2% ABV and 22 IBU it still maintains a delightful session style status.
Blocktoberfest will be released during an event of the same name that will be taking place at the brewery this Friday October 18th starting at 5:00 PM. For $5 admission attendees will receive samples of Blocktoberfest as well as beer sausages from Vincenzos, pretzels with beer mustard, and live music from The Honey Badgers.
Following the launch party, Blocktoberfest will be available to purchase at the Block Three retail store while supplies last.
