CALGARY, AB – Big Rock Brewery has announced the release of the latest installment in the Alchemist Edition series of limited edition one-off beers.
Anthea Wet Hop Ale is a renamed revival of the beer that launched the series last year, and is described as follows:
Anthea is made with fresh Cascade hops from Washington’s Yakima Valley and we’re excited to report that this year’s hop harvest is better than ever. These aromatic cones were picked from the vine, packed on dry ice, jetted to Calgary and put into our brew kettle in 21 hours. With the hop oils and resins at their flavourful peak, the outcome is a uniquely fresh pale ale with tangy citrus notes and a grassy aroma. Anthea Wet Hop Ale pours a rich golden yellow with a clean white head.
Anthea Wet Hop Ale has been released in a limited run of 3600 numbered 650 ml bottles that will be available in select liquor stores in Alberta and BC while supplies last.
