GUELPH, ON – Wellington Brewery has announced details of the next two installments in the Welly One-Off Series of limited edition beers, both due before the end of the month.
First up will be Iron Duke Saison, an interesting twist on one of the brewery’s flagship brands:
Iron Duke Saison (7.5% abv) is a delicious remix of a classic! We’ve taken our award-winning Scotch Ale and re-invented it by pitching Belgian Saison yeast to create a dark, malt-forward Saison style beer.
Iron Duke Saison will be released this Friday October 18th in a very limited run of 300 cans at the Wellington retail store. It will also be available on cask at select bars and restaurants.
Following a week later on October 25th will be Quick Brown Fox ESB:
Our take on a traditional British ESB (Extra Special Bitter) is dry hopped with traditional English style hops. Quick Brown Fox (6% abv) has a biscuit and nut malt profile balanced with spicy and aromatic hops.
Quick Brown Fox will be available in cans at the Wellington store, and on draught and cask at select licensed establishments.
