Finalists Named and Voting Now Open for Phillips 2013 Benefit Brew

VICTORIA, BCPhillips Brewing has named the shortlist of 10 nominated charities for the Phillips 2013 Benefit Brew, and voting is open to select which organization will have a fundraising beer brewed in their honour.

The 10 charities in the running, and the beer style that will be brewed for them should they win, include:

BC SPCA (Porter)
Dandelion Society (Steam Beer)
Doctors Without Borders (Dunkelwiezen)
Errington Therapeutic Riding Foundation (Porter)
Farmlands Trust (Blackberry Hefewiezen)
InterArts Centre for Makers (Blood Orange Wit)
LifeCycles Project Society (Blackberry Hefewiezen)
Little People of BC (Blood Orange Wit)
Surfrider Foundation Vancouver Island (India Pale Lager)
Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary (Rye Ale)

Votes for the charity and beer of your choice can be placed now at benefitbrew.com. Voting will close on November 16th and the winning charity/beer will be announced on November 18th, with the beer to be brewed in December and released in early 2014.
