EDMUNDSTON, NB – The small and primarily francophone city of Edmundston in the north-western corner of New Brunswick is set to become home to the province’s newest craft brewery in mid-2014.
Les Brasseurs du Petit-Sault is a brewery being founded by president André Léger along with partners Mychèle Poitras, André Morneault and André LeBlanc. Planned to open in May 2014 in a former police station in downtown Edmundston – as shown in the artist rendition above – the brewery intends to have a strong regional focus, and will work to produce Belgian-inspired beers suited to the local community.
