PRINCE GEORGE, BCScandal Brewing, an imprint of Pacific Western Brewing, has announced the third installment of Seven Wonders of the Beer World, a series of limited edition beers that are being brewed in “tribute to the planet’s most extraordinary features.”

Mt. Everest Barley Wine is a 9% abv and 65 IBU strong ale that has the following description:

Concocted from a mix of organic Canadian two-row and crystal 60 malts, German summit and hallertau tradition hops, yeast, and pure spring water, comes a robust, hop-forward barley wine accented by a subtle malt sweetness and hints of anise. This uncommon brew is hearty enough for an epic trek through the Canadian hinterland or just to be enjoyed in the heart of winter at the fireside.

Scandal Mt. Everest Barley Wine will be released soon in a limited run of 750 ml bottles that will be available at select liquor stores in British Columbia while supplies last.
