VICTORIA, BC – The worlds of heavy music and aggressive beers come together in a new book being released today by Adam Tepedelen, a Victoria-based writer known for his Brewtal Truth beer column in the heavy metal magazine Decibel.
The Brewtal Truth Guide To Extreme Beers (Lyons Press) is a 224-page book co-presented by Decibel that is described as “first guide of its type, defining what makes certain craft beers ‘extremely extreme,’ featuring descriptions and ratings of more than a 100 of the most insane beers in the world.” It also features interviews with heavy metal artists who love craft beer, and with some of the most adventurous brewers in today’s craft brewing scene.
A release party for the book will be taking place tonight (Tuesday November 12th) from 7:00 to 10:00 PM at the Garrick’s Head Pub in Victoria. Tepedelen will be in attendance to sign copies of the book, which will be available to purchase for $20. It will also be available from various online and bricks & mortar bookstores across North America.
