VICTORIA, BC – Phillips Brewing has announced the return of Instigator Doppelbock, a popular annual winter warmer that is back for a 5th year.
The release announcement describes it as follows:
The Doppelbock style was originally brewed by German monks to sustain them through lent season, and our version of this ‘liquid bread’ is crafted with a big, toasted malt body that’s deep copper in colour, and complimented by rich, sweet aromas. This 8.5% seasonal sipper is available at finer cold beer & wine stores for a limited time only.
Instigator Doppelbock is available now in a limited run of 650 ml bottles. It will also be available to sample on draught during a release party at the Phillips brewery this Thursday November 14th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
