VANCOUVER, BCGranville Island Brewing and casual dining chain JOEY Restaurants have announced the release of a new collaborative beer.

Brewed and released under the Bitter Allies moniker, Urban Legend IPA is a 7.5% abv and 75 IBU ale that was launched in early November with the following lighthearted description:

It’s the big hoppy beer your cousin’s friend’s brother told you about. The one brewed beneath a bridge in the Cascadian moonlight. Forged by the combined forces of two bitter allies. Loaded with premium Northwest hops and shrouded in aromatic mystery. As for the rest of the story, well, you’ll have to taste it for yourself.

Urban Legend IPA is available for a limited time at all JOEY locations in British Columbia, and at select liquor stores in the province.
