MISSION, BC – Mission Springs Brewing has announced the release of a new dark, strong and malty ale as a holiday seasonal offering.
McLennan’s Scotch Ale is described as follows:
Pours dark ruby/brown with a tawny head that lasts & lasts. At 8% ABV, this Wee Heavy ale is chock full of toffee-caramels and smokey-leathery undertones. Hints of tobacco, burnt sugar & roasted malts can be found throughout. Incredibly smooth with just enough hop presence to provide a wonderfully balanced ale.
McLennan’s Scotch Ale will be available soon on tap at the Mission Springs brewpub. Details on a bottled release have not been announced.
