NORTH VANCOUVER, BCGreen Leaf Brewing has announced that it will be opening this Friday December 20th in North Vancouver.

Located in Lonsdale Quay Market on the North Shore, Green Leaf will be launching with two beers – a year round Pale Ale, and a seasonal Oatmeal Stout.

Green Leaf Pale Ale is a 5.8% abv beer described as follows:

A clean, refreshing and finely balanced offering, brewed using Pale and Crystal malts and given a generous helping of Cascade hops. Because a big, fresh hop aroma and delicious fruity flavour are so important to us the Pale Ale gets a dry-hop addition in the fermentor, so what we get to serve to you is our idea of what a glass full of sunshine tastes like.

The 5.5% abv Oatmeal Stout has the following notes:

Have you ever wanted to drink a chocolate cookie? We did, so we came up with our Stout. We filled it with Oats, Crystal and Chocolate malts, making it a dark beer with a pleasing sweetness and subtle roasted finish. To top it all off, we balanced our specialty grains with premium Pale malt and a meticulously monitored fermentation, leaving it so full-bodied it’s a beer you can practically chew!

Both beers will be available in growlers and on draught at the Green Leaf brewery. For more details, see the Green Leaf website, Facebook page and Twitter feed.
