BRAMPTON, ON – Hop City Brewing, an Ontario-based division of Moosehead Breweries specializing in craft-style ales and lagers, has announced the retail release of a seasonal brand previously available exclusively on draught.
Originally launched on tap in late 2012, 8th Sin Black Lager is described as follows:
Brewed with eight different types of malt (yeah, eight), Hop City Brewing Co.’s 8th Sin Black Lager is black in colour with hints of espresso and chocolate in the aroma, a medium body and a smooth, sweet taste in the finish. Coming in at 5% ABV and 15 BU’s, 8th Sin is flavourful enough for beer connoisseurs, but still sessionable for those new to black lagers.
8th Sin Black Lager will be available soon in 473 ml cans at select LCBO outlets across Ontario, where it will retail for $2.80 per can.
