TORONTO, ON – After several years of concentrating on the promotion of domestic brands, Six Pints Specialty Beer Company – the craft and specialty beer division of Molson-Coors Canada – has announced the release of its first import product.
Worthington’s White Shield India Pale Ale is a traditional British IPA that has been made using the same recipe since 1830. Brewed to 5.6% abv and bottle conditioned, it has the following tasting notes provided by Six Pints:
White Shield is feisty and full flavoured, with bold notes of malt and toffee, complex fermentation derived characters dominated by fruit and higher alcohols, a fragrant hoppiness and a long, bitter-sweet finish.
Worthington’s White Shield IPA is available now at select LCBO outlets in Ontario, where it retails for $3.95 per 500 ml bottle. Distribution plans for other provinces have yet to be announced.
