HALIFAX, NS – Propeller Brewing has announced the addition of a new beer to it’s rotating seasonal line-up that is a fitting choice for a mid-March release.
Propeller Irish Red is a 5% abv ale that is described as “a tribute to the classic red ales of Ireland.”. Arriving just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, it has the following tasting notes:
Propeller Irish Red is a full-bodied yet refreshing ale with a complex malt aroma and character. Pale, Crystal, Roasted and Melanoidin malts give this brew its dark ruby red appearance and complex flavours. Willamatte hops balance the malt flavours with a subtle touch of woody hop character.
Propeller Irish Red will be officially launched tomorrow (Thursday March 13th) and will be available in 650 ml bottles at private liquor stores in Nova Scotia, in bottles and growlers at both Propeller retail locations, and on draught at select pubs and restaurants while quantities last.
