BURNABY, BC – British Columbia will soon be getting its first brewery dedicated exclusively to Belgian-style ales, with the upcoming opening of Dageraad Brewing.

Founded by brewer Ben Coli and named after Dageraadplaats (“Daybreak Place”), a public square in Antwerp, Dageraad will focus on a line-up of two flagship and up to six seasonal beers inspired by Coli’s many visits to Belgium and his love of that county’s beer culture.

Coli is currently posting a nine part series of articles on the Dageraad website about the journey that led to him launching the brewery, with the final installment set to appear in time for the scheduled debut of Dageraad’s inital brands in mid-May.
