WATERLOO, ON – The Waterloo Region Record reports that Brick Brewing has announced plans to sell its original brewing facility and property in Waterloo, and expand its Kitchener facility to include a new brewhouse.
The iconic building at 181 King St. S. in Waterloo has been Brick’s most publicly recognized location since the brewery launched 30 years ago this year. It houses a brewery, retail store, hospitality lounge and offices, all of which will be relocated to the Kitchener location which currently contains a bottling plant and warehousing space.
Brick’s second brewing facility in Formosa will remain in operation, and is expected to be unaffected by this change.
