TORONTO, ON – Eater Toronto reports that local deli maven Zane Caplansky is collaborating with Picton’s Barley Days Brewery on a new beer that is being designed especially to pair with Caplansky’s famous smoked meat sandwiches.
Deli King Dark Lager is described by Caplansky as a rye and barley based German Dunkel that is flavoured with the same spice mix used for preparing briskets in the deli.
Deli King Dark Lager will be launched at Caplansky’s Deli on June 17th, which is Zane’s birthday and the 6th anniversary of the restaurant’s opening.
