GRAVENHURST, ON – Muskoka Brewery has announced details for two returning seasonal brands, with one of them available in a special vintage edition.
Following the lead of the special version of Winter Beard Double Chocolate Cranberry Stout that was released last winter, this year’s release of spring seasonal Legendary Muskoka Oddity is a vintage edition that was brewed last spring and then aged for a year in temperature controlled cellar storage at the brewery. The result is described as “an artfully balanced beer with delicate bubblegum aroma and a subtly floral and spicy taste, an ideal drinking experience for Canadian spring.”
Legendary Muskoka Oddity was released last month and will be available until the end of June – or while supplies last – at the Muskoka retail store and select LCBO outlets for $12.95 per 750 ml bottle.
Joining it on shelves next week will be Summer Weiss, a popular warm weather seasonal that is described as follows:
Muskoka Brewery’s Summer Weiss has a deep golden colour. It opens with a strong banana aroma, which leads to a cool, crisp taste. Summer Weiss is brewed true to the traditional Hefeweizen style – unfiltered – leaving a natural haze. Muskoka Brewery recommends pairing it with fresh dishes like creamy guacamole or sweet and succulent lobster.
