EDMONTON, AB – Alley Kat Brewing has announced details of the next installment in the Big Bottle Series, a bi-monthly rotation of limited edition one-off beers released in 650 ml bomber bottles.
Loaded Goat Maibock is a 7.3% abv and 31 IBU strong lager brewed using German Pilsner and Munich malts, and Northern Brewer and Tradition hops. The resulting beer is described as follows:
Loaded Goat is lighter in colour than a traditional Maibock but continues with the classic taste of malty accents and a relatively low hop profile. A moderately sweet biscuity aroma with flashes of fruity esters and a low earthy hop note. Sweet malt flavour with estery notes, and a slightly grainy and moderately dry finish.
Loaded Goat will be released on Thursday May 1st in a limited run of bottles that will be available at the Alley Kat retail store and select liquor stores in Alberta.
