SURREY, BCCentral City Brewing has announced the upcoming release of beer created in collaboration with Seattle’s Elysian Brewing.

I-5 Amarillo Ale – named after Interstate 5, the highway that runs the length of the U.S. West Coast, connecting to B.C.’s Highway 99 at the border – was brewed earlier this month when Elysian’s Dick Cantwell visited the Central City brewery. The 5% abv and 32 IBU beer is described as “a luscious Pale Ale with lots of citrus and tropical fruit notes in the flavour and aroma.”

I-5 Amarillo Ale will be available on draught exclusively at Joey Restaurants starting May 28th, with a limited release in 650 ml bottles to follow via select private liquor stores in British Columbia.
