PRINCE GEORGE, BCScandal Brewing, an imprint of Pacific Western Brewing, has announced details of the latest installment of Seven Wonders of the Beer World, a series of limited edition beers that are being brewed in “tribute to the planet’s most extraordinary features.”

Aurora Beerealis is a 7% abv strong ale brewed with sake yeast that has the following description:

Aurora Beerealis is made from a blend of German style pilsner malt, a special Munich (BoLander) malt and Wheat malt and American Style special roasted Malt (Victory). This mix creates an orange-reddish color and a mild almost creamy biscuit taste. The most important part of this beer is the original Sake yeast added to the brew. It is then fermented at almost 23 degrees Celsius producing a sake-like taste and then further develops as it bottle-conditions. The final result, flavourful and silky smooth!

Scandal Aurora Beerealis is out now in a limited run of 750 ml bottles that will be available at select liquor stores in British Columbia while supplies last.
