MONTREAL, QC – Molson Coors Canada has announced the launch of a new product that offers “a new option for beer and cider drinkers.”
Mad Jack Apple Lager is a 5% abv apple flavoured beer that is described as follows:
A refreshingly different apple lager made with natural flavour, Mad Jack is crafted with a perfectly balanced sweetness and apple taste. It is light in body with a clean effervescent finish and a subtle apple aroma.
Mad Jack will be officially launched next week at Quebec beer and liquor stores in four-packs of 473 ml cans and six-packs of 341 ml bottles, and at Beer Store locations in Ontario in singles and six-packs of 473 ml cans. Distribution plans for other provinces are yet to be announced.
I discovered that beer in a small grocery store named Inter-Marché in Val-des-Monts. QC (St-Pierre de Wakefield district) during a beer tasting demonstration. I bought some and shared with a friend. We both got hooked on it as we really like the refreshing taste. My friend went to visit a friend in Gatineau, QC and looked in all the big grocery store such as IGA, Metro, Provigo, Maxi and Super C to buy some to share with her friend but could not find any. When will that beer be available in the big stores that I just mentionned. My friend is lucky as she lives in St-Pierre de Wakefield but I’m also in Val-des-Monts but in the Perkins district which is 30 km away from St-Pierre de Wakefield and can buy that beer only when I visit my friend.
