THUNDER BAY, ON – Sleeping Giant Brewing has reached the milestone of two years in business, and as was done for its first anniversary, a limited edition Saison has been released to mark the occasion.
Debuted at the brewery last Saturday, #Selfie Saison is a 6.7% abv and 25 IBU ale brewed with Pilsen malt and wheat, Soraichi Ace hops, organic peppercorns and lemon peel. The resulting beer has the following brief tasting notes:
Cloudy Belgian farmhouse ale with pepper and citrus aroma. Full spicy, citrusy flavour with a bit of citrus bight. Finishes late with a lemon bitterness at the back of the tongue.
Sleeping Giant #Selfie Saison is available now in 650 ml bottles at the brewery and on draught at select bars in the area. The current batch is expected to remain available for several weeks, and it may be brewed again to keep it around for the remainder of the summer.
