NEW WESTMINSTER, BC – The stream of new brewery openings in British Columbia continues its rapid flow this week, with the opening of Steel & Oak Brewing in New Westminster.
Founded by local residents Jorden Foss and James Garbutt along with head brewer Peter Schulz, Steel & Oak previewed its Smoked Hefeweizen during Vancouver Craft Beer Week earlier this month in advance of its official release this week.
It will soon be followed by Royal City Pale Ale, with both beers set to be available on tap at various bars and restaurants in New Westminster, Vancouver and surrounding area, as well as at the Steel & Oak tasting room and retail store when it opens later this month.
