TORONTO, ON – Mill Street Brewery has announced the addition of a new beer to its core brand line-up with the full scale launch of 100th Meridian Organic Amber Lager.
Previously available at the Mill Street Brewpub and as a selection in the Mill Street Summer 2014 Sampler Pack, 100th Meridian is described as follows:
This is an American-style craft lager brewed with pale and amber malts and a whole lot of American west coast hops (all of the organic barley malt, hops and yeast come from west of the 100th Meridian–thus the name) to give it a wonderful character that’s 100% organic. The light amber malt flavour and the crisp and floral hop character is made very smooth and mellow through the use of lager yeast and cold aging. It is a truly Canadian craft brew that combines the “best of the west” ingredients, a unique recipe and classic Mill Street.
100th Meridian Organic Amber Lager is available now at select LCBO locations in Ontario. Distribution plans for other provinces are yet to be announced.
