Full Program Announced for Toronto’s Festival of Beer 2014

TORONTO, ON – The organizers of Toronto’s Festival of Beer have confirmed details for the special programming at year’s edition of the event, taking place on Friday July 25th to Sunday July 27th at Bandshell Park in Exhibition Place.

Attractions for this year include:

The Brewmaster Sessions: Presented in conjunction with Prud’homme Beer Certification, this series will feature a number of beer experts giving talks throughout the 3 days of the festival, covering such topics as beer tastings, homebrewing, beer cocktails, setting up a home draught system and more.

Beerlicious Grill Experience: Grilling and beer pairing demos by BBQ chef Ted Reader and various guests.

World of Beer Pavilion: This year’s regional spotlight will be on the East Coast of North America, featuring beers from breweries in Canada’s maritime region, including PEI Brewing (Prince Edward Island), Pump House BreweryPicaroons Traditional Ales (New Brunswick), and Propeller Brewing & Garrison Brewing (Nova Scotia); and the eastern states of the US, including Shipyard Brewing (Maine), Brooklyn Brewing, Southern Tier Brewing & Brewery Ommegang (New York), and Cigar City Brewing (Florida).

Indie88 New Brews: Sponsored by radio station Indie88, this area will feature beers and breweries that are new to the Festival this year, including Triple Bogey Brewing, Descendants Beer & Beverage Co., Junction Craft Brewing, Kilannan Brewing, Brimstone Brewing, MacLean’s Ales, and Forbidden Dry Cider.

T.F.O.B. Trails: A series of themed tasting tours through the Festival, including the Women’s Trail, Gluten Free Trail and Cider Trail hosted by Ginger Johnson, and the Extreme Beer Trail hosted by Crystal Luxmore.

The Local: A group of booths at the centre of the Festival grounds featuring members of the Ontario Craft Brewers.

In addition to the attractions mentioned above, Toronto’s Festival of Beer will feature beer from many other local, national and international breweries, as well as a wide variety of food vendors, and live entertainment including headlining performances by K-OS (Friday), The Trews (Saturday), and Matthew Good (Sunday).

Tickets for the 2014 edition of Toronto’s Festival of Beer are available now via the T.F.O.B. website, with prices ranging from $39.50 to $79.50 depending on the options chosen.
