EDMUNDSTON, NBLes Brasseurs du Petit-Sault, a new brewery in the small francophone city of Edmundston in north-western New Brunswick, has officially launched with the release of one of its flagship brands.

As announced recently on the brewery blog, Tante Blanche – a 4.7% abv Belgian-style wheat beer described as having “a delicately balanced nose hinting of citrus and coriander with a discreet spicy ending” – was put on tap at several bars and pubs in area on July 4th, and stubby bottles went on sale yesterday (July 14th) at select ANBL locations, the Petit-Sault brewery store, and local licensed establishments.

Tante Blanche will soon be joined by a second core brand, Bob LeBoeuf, a 5.2% abv blond ale brewed with Saaz and Northern Brewer hops. Both beers are named after local legendary characters, as explained in an earlier Petit-Sault blog post.

For more details on the distribution and availability of Petit-Sault beers, see the brewery website and Facebook page.
